GEX ANIMAL MASSAGE THERAPIST
Meet the person behind it all...
GRACIE EXLER (ANIMAL MASSAGE THERAPIST)
Hi I am Gracie, I'm 21 years old and based in Crawley, West Sussex. I embarked on my journey into massage therapy back in September 2022 at Writtle University in Essex where I continue to work towards my full degree being and Integrated masters in veterinary physiotherapy (graduating 2026). On completion of 3rd year I am delighted to now be able to offer manual therapy services for equine and canine clients. Along the way I've studied a range of topics including anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition and rehabilitation as well as gaining countless hours of practical experience to provide me with a great level of competency. I will return to university later this year to complete the 4th and final year allowing me to become a veterinary physiotherapist and eventually offer additional services such as electrotherapies, prescribe exercises and perform remedial exercises.
I have always loved animals and learning about the body, so soon found out that veterinary physiotherapy was the career choice for me and I have never looked back! I love being able to make a difference to both animals and their owners lives through manual therapies and cannot wait to meet lots of them. Over numerous years I have spent a lot of time loving and caring for animals whether it's working as a yard groom or

volunteering at a dog groomers. I also founded my own small business back in 2020 known as Moody Mares Plaques which continues to offer personalised equestrian gifts.
In my spare time I train and compete my share horse Destiny where we like to do a bit of everything from trotting down centre lines to flying around a course of showjumps. I also enjoy going on hiking holidays up in the Lake District as well as running.
Gracie x
